The Gotham Rogues have long styled themselves as the league’s dark, edgy antiheroes - but in truth, they’re more Adam West slapstick than Christopher Nolan grit. A franchise that loves the theatrics of chaos but rarely delivers the payoff, the Rogues have built a legacy on close calls, squandered leads, and the occasional upset that keeps them from being completely irrelevant. Their game plans are unpredictable, but not in the clever, mastermind sort of way - more in the “is this even on purpose?” variety. For every surprise win that looks like a heist pulled off in the dead of night, there are twice as many losses that resemble a clown car pile-up.
